Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Ye Kang Zhan however easily saved by the left post. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hu Yao Nan, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Luca Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ye Kang Zhan. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. Felice Garibaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Hu Yao Nan notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute, Luís Fabiano Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ye Kang Zhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hu Yao Nan in the 32nd minute of play. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ye Kang Zhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Ye Kang Zhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hu Yao Nan made the kick off in the second half. Ye Kang Zhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Toni Kroos MGZ™'s goalkeeper Ye Kang Zhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hu Yao Nan took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Ye Kang Zhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ye Kang Zhan saved Toni Kroos MGZ™ from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Tafalla in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ye Kang Zhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 64 minutes into the match, Toni Kroos MGZ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Ye Kang Zhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Régis Lima hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Ye Kang Zhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 70th minute of play. Ye Kang Zhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hu Yao Nan came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Toni Kroos MGZ™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hu Yao Nan couldn't finish the play. Ye Kang Zhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Mexico booed when Toni Kroos MGZ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tạ Rado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ye Kang Zhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 93rd minute of the match. Ye Kang Zhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 94th minute of play. Ye Kang Zhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
