The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Haroldo Lorien dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dumitru Berca, 1-0. Tim Nyberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobri Karapetrov, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Dumitru Berca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Caldeira in the 12th minute. Real Calle were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after VIP's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Timmy Krusfeldt took the corner. If Sebastian Ţugui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th match minute, VIP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dumitru Podgoreanu to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, VIP's goalkeeper Dumitru Berca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Caldeira. Tim Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Ţugui in the 21st minute of play. Tim Nyberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Coșereanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Carlos Caldeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Dumitru Berca made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobri Karapetrov in the 32nd minute of play forced Real Calle's goalkeeper Tim Nyberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Real Calle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Espiridion to maneuver through the defense. Tim Nyberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Coșereanu in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Ştefan Coșereanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tim Nyberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 41st minute Dobri Karapetrov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Nyberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Real Calle's goal looked a bit too open when Dobri Karapetrov came free, but Tim Nyberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Wennersten in the 48th minute of play forced VIP's goalkeeper Dumitru Berca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, George Wennersten made a precise shot to the right of Dumitru Berca. VIP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Lorien made a kick off. Tim Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionuț Cerchez in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 minutes Real Calle's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ilie Buhuș who took care of the corner kick. 56 minutes into the match, Real Calle's goal looked a bit too open when Dobri Karapetrov came free, but Tim Nyberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Calle's Tim Nyberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Ţugui in the 60th minute of play. Tim Nyberg made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Sebastian Ţugui sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute Haroldo Lorien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Berca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Real Calle's Tim Nyberg got control of the ball when Sebastian Ţugui tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute, Timmy Krusfeldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tim Nyberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Ţugui, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When Haroldo Lorien came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Real Calle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Lorien couldn't finish the play. VIP's Dumitru Berca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Manuel Facuse in the 86th minute of play. Tim Nyberg was a little too slow when Dobri Karapetrov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
