In the 16th minute Brian Jakobsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Chioreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aero Björndalen's goalkeeper Bruno Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adrian Chioreanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roy Roger in the 18th minute. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Eric Holmberg sped through AC米兰's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adrian Chioreanu. Aero Björndalen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC米兰 the free kick. The supporters of Aero Björndalen booed when AC米兰 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. 何威庭 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aero Björndalen's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
