In the 7th minute, Mário Modesto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Nereta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some careless play in the Chuba Chubba Akpom defense, Mário Modesto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fritz Hultman. The Chuba Chubba Akpom fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fritz Hultman should have stopped the shot. Fritz Hultman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Modesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Chuba Chubba Akpom's Bengt-Rune Wållander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Muammer Taşcıoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 24 minutes FC Nereta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Birger Gunnarsson who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Chuba Chubba Akpom's Birger Gunnarsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Muammer Taşcıoğlu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Conny Nilsson kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Bengt-Rune Wållander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Muammer Taşcıoğlu made a huge save. When Mário Modesto came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the FC Nereta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Modesto couldn't finish the play. Mário Modesto scored 0-4 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fritz Hultman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the game, Mário Modesto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Fritz Hultman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th match minute, Chuba Chubba Akpom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklas Fribäck to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt-Rune Wållander during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chuba Chubba Akpom getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Bengt-Rune Wållander hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, FC Nereta's Mário Modesto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fritz Hultman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt-Rune Wållander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Chuba Chubba Akpom's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Modesto came free, but Fritz Hultman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Rune Wållander in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Muammer Taşcıoğlu saved FC Nereta from getting behind. Lennart Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muammer Taşcıoğlu having to interfere. After 64 played minutes Chuba Chubba Akpom got a freekick which was hit by Erland Örtlund. Lennart Karlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mário Modesto took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fritz Hultman. Fritz Hultman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Fritz Hultman was a little too slow when Mário Modesto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-8. 82 minutes into the match, Pavel Tankovich dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fritz Hultman, 0-9. Bengt-Rune Wållander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Muammer Taşcıoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Chuba Chubba Akpom's Fritz Hultman got control of the ball when Mário Modesto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 89 minutes, Conny Nilsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chuba Chubba Akpom and the FC Nereta players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Nereta booed when Chuba Chubba Akpom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conny Nilsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Snäll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Muammer Taşcıoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Nereta played a much better game than Chuba Chubba Akpom and deserved their victory. The Chuba Chubba Akpom players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
