Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 9th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. MALAIA FDFDF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Josué Vargas tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Belmiro Negri. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Edgar Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. MALAIA FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Tasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Lubomír Meszároš sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute, Lubomír Meszároš made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Tasso came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in MALAIA FDFDF's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belmiro Negri came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgar Tasso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-2 in the 44 minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lubomír Meszároš to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Edgar Tasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Duda de Queirós's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duda de Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. Duda de Queirós hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Lubomír Meszároš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Belmiro Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Belmiro Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 73rd minute of play. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Belmiro Negri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Belmiro Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 80 played minutes MALAIA FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Romildo Binder. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Belmiro Negri in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee ended the match the MALAIA FDFDF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
