Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sinsacote AFC's Teodoro Duarte started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Sinsacote AFC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Crayon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Sinsacote AFC's Felix Crayon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Crayon. Felix Crayon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Crayon having to interfere. After 26 minutes of play, Sinsacote AFC's Teodoro Duarte made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Felix Crayon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play forced Sinsacote AFC's goalkeeper Felix Crayon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Bertel Haug was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sinsacote AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 45 played minutes Sinsacote AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bertel Haug.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Duarte in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Felix Crayon however easily saved by the left post. Felix Crayon was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Crayon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Felix Crayon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 85th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Santiago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Crayon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sinsacote AFC.
