Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaime Pardo got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Venancio Tab came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the ROCORETRIKELUNOCMO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Tab couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Tab in the 12th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Urdaspal hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. ROCORETRIKELUNOCMO's Jeremias Matia shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jacobo Nores but with some difficulty. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Venancio Tab sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Urdaspal threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Xavier Zoido quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Jacobo Nores successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Venancio Tab got free with Jacobo Nores in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 48 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ROCORETRIKELUNOCMO's Cayetano Nicholas. Cayetano Nicholas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Venancio Tab made a kick off. Jaime Pardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Nicholas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Venancio Tab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Venancio Tab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Primitivo Escribano hit a great ball. After 75 minutes, Efrain Aimar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ROCORETRIKELUNOCMO and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute of the match Primitivo Escribano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cayetano Nicholas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, ROCORETRIKELUNOCMO's Simon Duarte got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venancio Tab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Jeremias Matia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Xavier Zoido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Tab in the 96th minute of the match. After 97 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Escribano. Paraguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
