A collision led to Leeton United FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Bjorn Gaffigan hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Clay Heath took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paz Gledden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Bjorn Gaffigan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xulian Cai was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, one of Leeton United FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Leeton United FC. Paz Gledden blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 21st minute, Leeton United FC's Paz Gledden dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Gregory Krause had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paz Gledden in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 37th minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Brookes Crane fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Paz Gledden tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erlend Sørby made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 51st minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paz Gledden in the 54th minute of play. Brookes Crane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 62 minutes, Paz Gledden made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leeton United FC made a substitution. Nero Bonham replaced Baal Muncaster. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paz Gledden in the 69th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paz Gledden in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leeton United FC's goalkeeper Erlend Sørby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
