Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Moneteria's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Daniel Cwynar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Cwynar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moneteria's Remigiusz Wiatrak got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Moneteria booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joshua Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Daniel Cwynar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. 22 minutes into the match, Moneteria's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Daniel Cwynar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugon Milko in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Cwynar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Cwynar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Moneteria defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Cwynar. The Moneteria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Cwynar should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After a defensive mix-up in Moneteria's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Cwynar came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th match minute, Moneteria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Arbaszewski to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Cwynar made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomasz Arada hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Cwynar having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Moneteria's Barnaba Wobito got a free kick in the 64th minute. Moneteria made a substitution. Iwan Misiewicz replaced Kacper Resel. Moneteria made a substitution. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Daniel Cwynar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Daniel Cwynar was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-3. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. In the 91st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense.
