Fabian Testaferrata Abela received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabian Testaferrata Abela slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 13th minute. Fabian Testaferrata Abela took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Avellino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 37th playminute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Ferrant during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. When Efrain Moruga was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 51 minutes had been played. After a defensive mix-up in Victoria's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Cauchi came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fredrik Hylander kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. When Alexander Carballo fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alexander Carballo a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Avellino in the 71st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Cauchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Emanuel Avellino made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. 81 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Hylander came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Avellino scored 7-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Avellino in the 86th minute of play. Victoria's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stephan Blanco in the 87th minute. The corner ended in Nigel Petroni almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz did a great save. Emanuel Avellino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Avellino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoria's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
