An unexpectedly hard shot by Sefa Danış in the 27th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sefa Danış who took care of the corner kick. With 30 minutes on the clock, 盛世 Jordan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yüce Özyurt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Costa Rica succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though 晋江绿野航海家队 had controlled the match.
