Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Wennersten in the 3rd minute of play. The throw-in from Salvador Gisbert in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Björnlunda IF's Jens-Erik Hård. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Åhlberg in the 7th minute. Jens-Erik Hård made in the 11th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Boris Käcker immediately put the ball in play. 16 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Olofsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Björnlunda IF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Olofsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andreas Åhlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Björnlunda IF's Simon Wennersten slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. In the 29th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Olofsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, Björnlunda IF's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Eric Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Åhlberg got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Wennersten came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Andreas Åhlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Björnlunda IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Åhlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Åhlberg made a kick off. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Björnlunda IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Åhlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eric Olofsson was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 55th minute, Andreas Åhlberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Björnlunda IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Eric Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Andreas Åhlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Eric Olofsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 65th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Simon Wennersten took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Wennersten in the 75th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Björnlunda IF's goalkeeper Eric Olofsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 80 played minutes Björnlunda IF got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Erik Hård. Venezuela's attentive Salvador Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Jens-Erik Hård made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Wennersten in the 89th minute of play. Simon Wennersten struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Björnlunda IF. 94 minutes into the game, Björnlunda IF's Andreas Åhlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
