Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mete Gol got the match started through his kick off. Atlético Capixaba's Patrick Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Capixaba's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. In the 7th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Beldad to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Teles saved Atlético Capixaba from getting behind. Atlético Capixaba's Patrick Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 21st minute of play. When Uruguay's Francisco Seco in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Capixaba's goalie prevented a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Atlético Capixaba's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Patrick Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Camilo Franco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Francisco Seco scored 0-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Teles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 31st minute of play forced Atlético Capixaba's goalkeeper Patrick Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Seco succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. When Romeu Diniz fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Capixaba's protests and gave Romeu Diniz a yellow card for diving instead. Romeu Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Jaime Cazalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38th play minutes Francisco Seco shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Patrick Teles and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Atlético Capixaba defense, Alberto Gisbert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Teles. The Atlético Capixaba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Teles should have stopped the shot. Francisco Seco scored 0-7 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Teles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Uruguay were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. Patrick Teles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 52nd minute. Atlético Capixaba's Patrick Teles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Capixaba from getting a goal against them. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Patrick Teles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Patrick Teles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Seco went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the match, Alberto Gisbert notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Atlético Capixaba's Patrick Teles. Patrick Teles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. Atlético Capixaba's Patrick Teles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Capixaba from getting a goal against them. Jaime Cazalla made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alberto Gisbert. The Uruguay fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Uruguay's Francisco Seco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-12 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Atlético Capixaba's Patrick Teles got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Sainz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Teles having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Atlético Capixaba's goalkeeper Patrick Teles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Maximiliano Escribano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Patrick Teles made a huge save. Patrick Teles made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute, Francisco Seco made a precise shot to the right of Patrick Teles. Atlético Capixaba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. Patrick Teles was a little too slow when Maximiliano Escribano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-14. Patrick Teles was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Francisco Seco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francisco Seco really showed his touch with that goal: 0-15. Francisco Seco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-16 in the 94th playminute. In the 97th minute, Francisco Seco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Patrick Teles. The goal made the score 0-17. The Atlético Capixaba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uruguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
