Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cassius Byrne kicked off to start the match. In the 14th minute, Nabucodonosor Llorente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute of the match USA got a corner. Sitges's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Cassius Byrne almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sitges's Curro Climent did a great save. Nabucodonosor Llorente thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Curro Climent, a very annoying self made goal in the 16th minute which led to 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 18th minute of play forced Sitges's goalkeeper Curro Climent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monty Rogers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Curro Climent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Curro Climent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 31st minute of the match. Edward Mcdonald kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Sitges got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Suuroja. After 47 minutes, Baldemar Folch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sitges and the USA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sitges getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Baldemar Folch hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mauricio Salazar to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curro Climent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to USA's Jacob May getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 61st minute of play forced Sitges's goalkeeper Curro Climent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Johnson in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match Sitges got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Johnson ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Sitges's Curro Climent got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenz De Paula in the 70th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, USA's Curro Climent threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Monty Rogers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Monty Rogers might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Curro Climent. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Monty Rogers ran back to his position shaking his head. Curro Climent made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Campbell in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Baldemar Folch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Sitges's goalkeeper Curro Climent had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Campbell. Sam Campbell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curro Climent having to interfere. Curro Climent made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Marco Baker sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of USA booed when Sitges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Suuroja didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Sam Campbell put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Curro Climent. 95 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Baldemar Folch came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
