An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Cambeiro in the 12th minute of play forced Erzincan FK's goalkeeper Murat Aydoğan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Murat Aydoğan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Şenel Barbaros scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 3-0. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Şenel Barbaros sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murat Aydoğan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulhamit Akbel came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denizhan Oğuzman in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Murat Aydoğan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. The wind increased when Şenel Barbaros made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murat Aydoğan. Erzincan FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoro Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 56th minute, Abraham Alguacil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Murat Aydoğan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 59th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Alguacil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murat Aydoğan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erzincan FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Tomas Berganza scored to the left of an out of position Murat Aydoğan, making the score, 3-3. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murat Aydoğan having to interfere. Tomas Berganza was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Panama's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Mecnun Oğuralp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murat Aydoğan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidoro Sarmiento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 82 minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Şenel Barbaros notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şenel Barbaros in the 92nd minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, Erzincan FK's Şenel Barbaros made it 5-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Erzincan FK were victorious despite being under pressure from Panama for much of the match.
