Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rikhard Alatalo kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Rikhard Alatalo came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pojo's Kauno Timmonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 6th minute of play. Kauno Timmonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauno Timmonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute Taavetti Noponen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rikhard Alatalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Pojo defense, Luca Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kauno Timmonen. The Pojo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kauno Timmonen should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Pojo's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Kauno Timmonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 17th minute. Kauno Timmonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 33rd minute of play. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahto Paatelainen in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kauno Timmonen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pojo's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauno Timmonen came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kauno Timmonen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Taavetti Noponen kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Pojo's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Kauno Timmonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Pojo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilari Kuokkanen to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of Mexico booed when Pojo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmyr Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes Pojo got a freekick which was hit by Rauli Liimatainen. When Pojo's Rikhard Alatalo in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Kauno Timmonen made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kauno Timmonen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Pojo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Kauno Timmonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute of the match, Alberto Tafalla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kauno Timmonen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 75th minute. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Pojo's Kauno Timmonen managed to reach the ball for a save. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauno Timmonen having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Pojo got a freekick which was hit by Juho Marttinen. Pojo's Kauno Timmonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 82nd minute of play. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pojo's Kauno Timmonen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Pojo from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauno Timmonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mexico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
