Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olimpiu Oncescu was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Mugur Aldulea got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Olimpiu Oncescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute of the match Honduras got a corner. Stoicii's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Honduras's corner Edmundo Espiga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Olimpiu Oncescu quite easily take care of the ball. After 22 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Moises Tafalla. In the 24th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mugur Aldulea scored 3-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute Moises Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Oncescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 30th minute of play forced Stoicii's goalkeeper Olimpiu Oncescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mugur Aldulea's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lautaro Navarro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Mugur Aldulea sent off a good shot on target. Alexandru Zaki made in the 40th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Petruț Lovinescu. After a rather tough play, Stoicii's Claudiu Popescu got a free kick in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Stoicii's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Olimpiu Oncescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Tafalla in the 46th minute of play forced Stoicii's goalkeeper Olimpiu Oncescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Stoicii's Olimpiu Oncescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Stoicii from getting a goal against them. When Ştefan Nebunu fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stoicii's protests and gave Ştefan Nebunu a yellow card for diving instead. Ştefan Nebunu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Moises Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Olimpiu Oncescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. With a little luck, Stoicii's Olimpiu Oncescu got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olimpiu Oncescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Mugur Aldulea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stoicii's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugur Aldulea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mugur Aldulea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Honduras booed when Stoicii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Zbora didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Stoicii getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Mugur Aldulea hit a great ball. Olimpiu Oncescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Popescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Honduras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stoicii.
