After having played for 10 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kajetan Sienkowski got free with Julio Vera in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the game, Kernsdorf SSA's Walery Polkoski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kernsdorf SSA's Cyryl Cichocki. Cyryl Cichocki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cyryl Cichocki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute. In the 29th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Felix Montenegro put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cyryl Cichocki. In the 35thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kernsdorf SSA's Cyryl Cichocki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Kernsdorf SSA getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Janusz Pilipiec hit a great ball. Janusz Pilipiec kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The Kernsdorf SSA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Cyryl Cichocki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The supporters of Kernsdorf SSA booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Walery Polkoski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Kernsdorf SSA defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cyryl Cichocki. The Kernsdorf SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cyryl Cichocki should have stopped the shot. Luis Andino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cyryl Cichocki came out and tried to block the shot, but Luis Andino slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 95th minute. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
