After taking down the ball on CA Juventud Unida's corner Ján Hanzel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Rainer Marthaler tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesús Banana got free with Marco Day in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute, Monty Rogers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesús Banana in the 18th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Jesus Fix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Petrigai in the 68th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Arendarski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Jenson Smith kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. USA played a much better game than CA Juventud Unida and deserved their victory. The CA Juventud Unida players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
