The tension between the Ayla FC and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ayla FC's Silvério Pinhal got a free kick in the 20th minute. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Fraser having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Pinhal in the 23rd minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvério Pinhal made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rob Porteus during the 50th minute. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. 85 minutes into the match, Ayla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Nilson Fraser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 minutes Ayla FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Nilson Fraser in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ayla FC's Nilson Fraser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
