Herblay's Ludomil Kajdasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Ludomil Kajdasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norbert Cadart got free with Julio Vera in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Ludomil Kajdasz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Herblay's Ludomil Kajdasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arnaud Konieczny fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ludomil Kajdasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ludomil Kajdasz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaud Konieczny in the 41st minute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ludomil Kajdasz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ludomil Kajdasz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a little luck, Herblay's Ludomil Kajdasz got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ludomil Kajdasz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Sylvain Missonnier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Cadart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Ludomil Kajdasz made a huge save. Arnaud Konieczny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1-2 became the score in the 92nd minute when Arnaud Konieczny elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
