Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Haritz Trespuentes took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the Nytäppet Fc defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sture Abrahamsson. The Nytäppet Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sture Abrahamsson should have stopped the shot. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haritz Trespuentes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nytäppet Fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 26th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to a score. 0-2 in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sture Abrahamsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Nytäppet Fc's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sture Abrahamsson came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Nytäppet Fc's Dave Lombardo got a free kick in the 38th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nytäppet Fc. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Haritz Trespuentes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Daniel Zorita helped the player get up and apologised. Nytäppet Fc's Theo Svensson was substituted for Dave Lombardo. After 65 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Sture Abrahamsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dušan Vlahović in the 69th minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haritz Trespuentes's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Haritz Trespuentes took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Nytäppet Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Lindman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haritz Trespuentes in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Sture Abrahamsson in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nytäppet Fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Nytäppet Fc were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
