Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Eulalio Bastian successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eulalio Bastian saved Deportivo Mandiyu from getting behind. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Cherro in the 97th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Mandiyu.
