Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tavio Rienda in the 18th minute of the match. Rodrigo Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tavio Rienda in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Medero Nadal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Moises Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Honduras booed when VALPICA C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Curcio Morales didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tavio Rienda to strike the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes, Adolfo Carro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VALPICA C.F. and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes VALPICA C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Carro. One of VALPICA C.F.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Honduras:s goal. Medero Nadal got a throw-in 84 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Maximiliano Camara. In the 93rd minute of the game Maximiliano Camara made a throw-in which Adolfo Carro played forward. In the 97th play minute Alexander Costa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rodrigo Ramos. 2-3. Honduras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
