Trocha Media FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 9th minute, Olgierd Zacharczyk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 1-1. Jacobo Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 15th minute of the match. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Zacharczyk in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Olgierd Zacharczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Llin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Rufio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseo Noboa might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Noboa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th minute of the match Trocha Media FC got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Siro Orti ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 63rd minute of play forced Trocha Media FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Llin came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Florentino Llin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Rufio scored 5-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Trocha Media FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes, Trocha Media FC's Siro Orti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trocha Media FC reached it. Trocha Media FC's Eliseo Rufio got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florentino Llin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Trocha Media FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Costa Rica for a fine match.
