Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cosimo Mascia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noureddine Sanchis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute of the game Guntademaro Pena made a throw-in which Hüseyin Eroğlu played forward. After some careless play in the LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosimo Mascia. The LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosimo Mascia should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 27th minute of play forced LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's goalkeeper Cosimo Mascia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosimo Mascia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of play. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clovis Hénot in the 54th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosimo Mascia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alonso Berganza hit a great ball. But to his dismay, Noureddine Sanchis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 65 minutes into the match, LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Cosimo Mascia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosimo Mascia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Cosimo Mascia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Julian Murillo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cosimo Mascia. The goal made the score 2-3. After 86 played minutes LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO got a freekick which was hit by Milan Froněk. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. A collision led to LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Milan Froněk hit a great ball. Eliseo Mina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cosimo Mascia made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Rafael Gallo sent off a good shot on target. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
