An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 13th minute of play forced FC Dwa Do Ósmej's goalkeeper Franciszek Lerych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emmanuel Reyes got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Milagros Fraga. 21 minutes into the match, FC Dwa Do Ósmej's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Franciszek Lerych reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Dwa Do Ósmej's goalkeeper Franciszek Lerych, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after FC Dwa Do Ósmej's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner.
