Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as 『盛世メ名門』皇家哥伦布COLOMBO F.C.'s 乔克昆 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-1 after 16 minutes of play. After 22 played minutes 『盛世メ名門』皇家哥伦布COLOMBO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by 林希棋. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 龙霖震 during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, 『盛世メ名門』皇家哥伦布COLOMBO F.C.'s 龙霖震 got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 徐烽鹰 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by 『盛世メ名門』皇家哥伦布COLOMBO F.C.'s 莫志益. But to his dismay, 莫志益 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by 哥伦布 Bergkamp in the 36th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute of the match, 乔克昆 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by 莫志益 in the 39th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 徐烽鹰 was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 莫志益 to make the kick off. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the game, Alan Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 『盛世メ名門』皇家哥伦布COLOMBO F.C. the free kick. After 64 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 莫志益 in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when 乔克昆 came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 乔克昆 in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by 莫志益 in the 77th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, 『盛世メ名門』皇家哥伦布COLOMBO F.C.'s 严烨铮 got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 91st minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 徐烽鹰 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 哥伦布 Bergkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When 『盛世メ名門』皇家哥伦布COLOMBO F.C.'s 莫志益 in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
