Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) In the 4th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Elmhuus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Nils Elmhuus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Red Army's Nils Elmhuus. Nils Elmhuus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 11 minutes into the match, Red Army's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Nils Elmhuus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils Elmhuus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play forced Red Army's goalkeeper Nils Elmhuus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Red Army's Nils Elmhuus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 20th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Nils Elmhuus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Remigiusz Gabis sent off a good shot on target. Nils Elmhuus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Red Army's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. When Camilo Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Camilo Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. 45 minutes into the match, Red Army's Hossein Fatehi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nils Elmhuus firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience was convinced that Remigiusz Gabis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Red Army's Kaveh Bayat got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 87thth minute of the game Ali Karimi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
