Göran Unesson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 40 minutes into the game, Göran Unesson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Göran Unesson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Team Rocco's Göran Unesson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Team Rocco were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ralf Vase took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ralf Vase got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Team Rocco got a freekick which was hit by Allan Malmström. In the 69th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Edvin Mårtensson. Team Rocco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.
