Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mariano Lacasa made the kick off and thus started the match. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Malheiro in the 2nd minute of play. After 4 played minutes Ciudad Tao FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Osório. Gerardo Pozo lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 1-0 came in the 8th minute when Jairo Malheiro all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. After having played for 16 minutes, Jairo Malheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciudad Tao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Malheiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Jairo Malheiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciudad Tao FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Malheiro in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Manzanedo to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Ciudad Tao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Evander Zabel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evander Zabel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando Casaus went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 36th minute of play forced Ciudad Tao FC's goalkeeper Evander Zabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ciudad Tao FC's Marcelo Osório got a free kick in the 37th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Guillermo Fontirroig hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Jose Manzanedo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Ciudad Tao FC's Salomon Quaade was substituted for Ernst Skog. Ciudad Tao FC made a substitution. Miron Zabel replaced Jairo Malheiro. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jose Manzanedo hit a great ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Osmar Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciudad Tao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osmar Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miron Zabel in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Miron Zabel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. When Osmar Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ciudad Tao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osmar Goiano couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the game, Miron Zabel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miron Zabel got in the 84th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Thiago Pliego handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Miron Zabel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Ciudad Tao FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
