In the 3rd match minute, Leripe Lifestyle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ringo Bonavent to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, Leripe Lifestyle's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Paredes Soberano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paredes Soberano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan-Carlos Cervantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franciszek Topolski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Leripe Lifestyle's Paredes Soberano. Paredes Soberano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play forced Leripe Lifestyle's goalkeeper Paredes Soberano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paredes Soberano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes Leripe Lifestyle's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play forced Leripe Lifestyle's goalkeeper Paredes Soberano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 played minutes Leripe Lifestyle got a freekick which was hit by Franciszek Topolski. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Paredes Soberano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Montenegro during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leripe Lifestyle's Leonardo Pernambucano was substituted for Yves Lacoste. After 28 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. After 29th play minutes Bernardinho Passos shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. Franciszek Topolski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Leripe Lifestyle's Dino Madureira got a free kick in the 35th minute. Paredes Soberano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Dino Madureira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After 44 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita.

In the 53rd minute, Kiko Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Martins in the 62nd minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paredes Soberano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. With a little luck, Leripe Lifestyle's Paredes Soberano got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 74 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paredes Soberano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leripe Lifestyle's Göran Bergvall was substituted for Romulo Tarin. Dino Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leripe Lifestyle's Paredes Soberano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Leripe Lifestyle from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paredes Soberano. The goal made the score 1-6. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paredes Soberano having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Kiko Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paredes Soberano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho Passos in the 94th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
