Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Augusto Stephen sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Shen Yi Yuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute of play forced Goblins F.C.'s goalkeeper Shen Yi Yuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th match minute, Goblins F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferenc Ferencz to maneuver through the defense. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Stephen got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Goblins F.C. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Venegas during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shen Yi Yuan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Carlsson in the 58th minute of the match. Salvador Gisbert made in the 62nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Patricio Costa however managed to control. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goblins F.C.'s Gilvan Paes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Salvador Gisbert in the 67 minute of the game. Goblins F.C.'s Edvard Carlsson got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Goblins F.C. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Goblins F.C.'s Edvard Carlsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Shen Yi Yuan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edvard Carlsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvard Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 89 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos.
