Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cecilio Tristan got the match started through his kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Tristan in the 6th minute of play. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Cecilio Tristan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emiliano Enol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Emiliano Enol slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cecilio Tristan got free with Julio Vera in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute Abuba Akotonon FC were awarded a corner. Genaro Elivareo went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Cecilio Tristan scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-1. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Enol in the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. A hard shot by Genaro Elivareo from long distance, 38 minutes into the match, got Julio Vera's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Montenegro in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Orlando Gatti saved Abuba Akotonon FC from getting behind. In the 43rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robt Paulet kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Abuba Akotonon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Artaldo to maneuver through the defense. Emiliano Enol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Abuba Akotonon FC were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Genaro Elivareo took the corner. The corner led Abuba Akotonon FC's Genaro Elivareo to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Cecilio Tristan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Tristan came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Orlando Gatti having to interfere. Felix Montenegro in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 76 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Hugo Orlando Gatti. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Enol, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When Abuba Akotonon FC's Cecilio Tristan in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Emiliano Enol hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Cecilio Tristan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The Abuba Akotonon FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
