The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jean-Baptiste Meskine's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jean-Baptiste Meskine helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Abderrahmane Mekhloufi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Julio Chicote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. At last the ball reached Alfredo Ferrant at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of GoooooooooooooooooooooooL. 0-1. In the 21st minute, Eduardo Fontirroig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GoooooooooooooooooooooooL! In the 42nd match minute, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Baptiste Meskine to maneuver through the defense. Nassim Mansouri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Chicote charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Chicote the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Julio Chicote got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nassim Mansouri to make the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of GoooooooooooooooooooooooL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bolivia:s goal. The goalkeeper, Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum, was totally fooled by Bolivia's Mario Fernandino, who 61 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Friedrich Engels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nassim Mansouri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bolivia's Julio Chicote got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Julio Chicote off the ground. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Julio Chicote hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Friedrich Engels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Gallo in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nassim Mansouri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Gallo's late challenge caught a GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Friedrich Engels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The GoooooooooooooooooooooooL fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bolivia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
