Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Radomil Jenkot made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radomil Jenkot. The supporters of Panama booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hieronim Logewnik didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Damian Dranka got a free kick in the 8th minute. Borussia Dortmund's Tolek Tyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 9th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Isidoro Sarmiento heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 12 minutes into the game, Wieslaw Ochylski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borussia Dortmund's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. In the 14th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abraham Alguacil in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolek Tyski saved Borussia Dortmund from getting behind. Tolek Tyski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajetan Banan in the 19th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Kajetan Banan came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Kajetan Banan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hieronim Logewnik charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hieronim Logewnik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Hieronim Logewnik got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Borussia Dortmund's Tolek Tyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes in the game, Kajetan Banan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Tolek Tyski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 28th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Ochylski. Abraham Alguacil, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Felipe Ros put in a rough tackle. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Panama! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund's zone, Matthew Garrido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolek Tyski came out of the goal and Matthew Garrido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th match minute, Borussia Dortmund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Dranka to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Panama booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hieronim Logewnik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafal Dziedziak hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Jenkot in the 72nd minute of play. Aaron Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Cambeiro came free, but Tolek Tyski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Borussia Dortmund's Rafal Dziedziak tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Kajetan Banan came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Damian Dranka. 97 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tolek Tyski, 1-2. The Borussia Dortmund fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
