Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Florentino Dominix started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Vicente Guerau hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Pepillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Florentino Dominix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Florentino Dominix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Milagros Cabal fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Milagros Cabal a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Honduras! In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Deportivo de Coba. Edgard Mendiko stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lautaro Navarro. 1-0. In the 25th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Florentino Dominix kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Milagros Cabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the game, Deportivo de Coba's Florentino Dominix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Honduras's Sebastian Villa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Deportivo de Coba. In the 44th minute, Arnaldo Rafe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. When Luca Espinar came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Espinar couldn't finish the play. Florentino Dominix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Honduras booed when Deportivo de Coba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Guerau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Pepillo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 73rd minute of play forced Deportivo de Coba's goalkeeper Tomás Pepillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 minutes, Edgard Mendiko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo de Coba and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Honduras booed when Deportivo de Coba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Mendiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Herminio Nalo in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo.
