Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Paulo Vergílio saved Szuperbeton from getting behind. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Paulo Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Paulo Vergílio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel De Mees received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Paulo Vergílio came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 40 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Paulo Vergílio was left in no man's land by his defense there! João Paulo Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the match, Szuperbeton's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but João Paulo Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeoffrey Vermeulen was the one to do the kick off. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. João Paulo Vergílio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Paulo Vergílio having to interfere. With a little luck, Szuperbeton's João Paulo Vergílio got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 74th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Paulo Vergílio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Pierre De Swert kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match, Luis Andino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but João Paulo Vergílio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Paulo Vergílio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. João Paulo Vergílio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
