In the 10th minute Son Bomberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Tudor Vrabie scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Son Bomberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Corneliu Stănoiu could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Emanuel Balaci took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. 33 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Villiam Alströmmer. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Son Bomberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Villiam Alströmmer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fotbal Club Brasovia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After 57 minutes of play, Fotbal Club Brasovia's Tudor Vrabie made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Corneliu Stănoiu in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Son Bomberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Vrabie in the 70th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Brasovia's goalkeeper Noh Gol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Son Bomberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Son Bomberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Vrabie came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Son Bomberg struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fotbal Club Brasovia. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Son Bomberg in the 96th minute of play. Fotbal Club Brasovia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
