The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Thanos Kolompár notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bálint Szarka, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Dávid Pócsi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanos Kolompár in the 27th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanos Kolompár in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 30 in the game by Thanos Kolompár from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Zoltán Bíró's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Csanád Bács fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bálint Szarka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1866 Lokomotiv Kanizsa the free kick. In the 51st minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanos Kolompár recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Péter Simkó didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. The 1866 Lokomotiv Kanizsa fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when 1866 Lokomotiv Kanizsa's Thanos Kolompár looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Thanos Kolompár came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the 1866 Lokomotiv Kanizsa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thanos Kolompár couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Thanos Kolompár kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanos Kolompár in the 71st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ádám Vass replaced Muhammet Dirican. The supporters of 1866 Lokomotiv Kanizsa booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Vásárhelyi in the 88th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Csanád Bács shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bálint Szarka in the 94th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the 1866 Lokomotiv Kanizsa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
