Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. Rapid Punta Cana's Domingo Lozano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Venezuela. Patricio Veguri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Veguri, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Veguri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Patricio Veguri sent off a good shot on target. Ali Atıf Harmanda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Ali Atıf Harmanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurt Rosen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Veguri in the 43rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Veguri in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, Rapid Punta Cana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastián Prado to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Veguri in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Domingo Lozano was slow to take the kick. During this time Rapid Punta Cana's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Domingo Lozano managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 65th minute. The supporters of Rapid Punta Cana booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Rapid Punta Cana's goalkeeper Kurt Rosen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Rapid Punta Cana's Domingo Lozano got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Patricio Veguri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Rapid Punta Cana walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
