Gísli Langnickel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th match minute, Aversa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Di Giulio to maneuver through the defense. Aversa's Emory Øien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 11th minute of play. After 13 minutes Aversa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Axel Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emory Øien quite easily take care of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Colombia's Kevin Mastache sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emory Øien narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Gísli Langnickel sent off a good shot on target. Gísli Langnickel struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aversa. Gísli Langnickel came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pedro Manzanares could save by the left post. Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emory Øien having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emory Øien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Colombia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aversa:s goal. Emory Øien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 35th minute of the game was made by Samuel Navarro with Santino Seco as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Emory Øien stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gísli Langnickel, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Aversa's Emory Øien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 41st minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Kevin Mastache cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Emory Øien was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gísli Langnickel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gísli Langnickel in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emory Øien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 75 minutes, Gísli Langnickel made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Aversa made a substitution. Ferdinando Cesarini replaced Aang Pitono. In the 83rd minute Anselmo Fulgenzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Mastache during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
