In the 14th minute, Gustavo Gol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lautaro Navarro. The goal made the score 2-0. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tribos 4EVER's Iwo Kalak quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valentín Carvallo, made in the 20th minute of the game. When Nicanor Elequemedo fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tribos 4EVER's protests and gave Nicanor Elequemedo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Honduras booed when Tribos 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Elequemedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edvin van der Saar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edvin van der Saar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Cristiano Faria sent off a good shot on target. Cristiano Faria hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 35th minute of play forced Tribos 4EVER's goalkeeper Edvin van der Saar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tribos 4EVER's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicanor Elequemedo in the 39th minute. The corner led Tribos 4EVER's Nicanor Elequemedo to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 40th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Gustavo Gol took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Gol to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Tribos 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. Edvin van der Saar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Iwo Kalak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvin van der Saar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Tribos 4EVER's Gustavo Gol got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Edvin van der Saar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Pedrinho Figueiredo's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrinho Figueiredo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Pedrinho Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the game, Tribos 4EVER's Gustavo Gol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 73 minutes, Gustavo Gol made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 78th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Luca Espinar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Espinar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Tribos 4EVER's Edvin van der Saar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 86th minute of play. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tribos 4EVER's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
