Dawid Bucyki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 6 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Sebastian Piechocki made the kick off in the second half. In the 91st minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dawid Bucyki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ecuador's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
