Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Rosa having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Roland Bódi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Roland Bódi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roland Bódi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roland Bódi was slow to take the kick. During this time Batéi Félreértés LC's players had a chance to rest. André Luiz Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Antonio Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luiz Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Batéi Félreértés LC's André Luiz Rosa. André Luiz Rosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with André Luiz Rosa in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 56 played minutes Batéi Félreértés LC got a freekick which was hit by Jónás Tímár. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Batéi Félreértés LC's goalkeeper André Luiz Rosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with André Luiz Rosa in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Batéi Félreértés LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lóránt Sári didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for André Luiz Rosa to make any attempt to save it. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Cristian Sancho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Batéi Félreértés LC's André Luiz Rosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Batéi Félreértés LC from getting a goal against them. André Luiz Rosa made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. André Luiz Rosa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 94 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Batéi Félreértés LC.
