Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dawid Bucyki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 41 minutes, Jordan Mijatović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PTB Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jordan Mijatović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dawid Bucyki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Aleksander Wolski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of PTB Football Club booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jordan Mijatović kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jordan Mijatović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. With a little luck, PTB Football Club's Dawid Bucyki got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 61st minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dawid Bucyki having to interfere. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. PTB Football Club's Roman Kosmatka was substituted for Sebastian Piechocki. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Kosmatka's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordan Mijatović in the 86th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Roman Kosmatka put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. In the 96th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
