Martin Lambers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edwin Helwig. Beetje Moe Re-United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edwin Helwig, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Beetje Moe Re-United's Gert Degens got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Edwin Helwig. Beetje Moe Re-United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edwin Helwig. Edwin Helwig dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After some careless play in the Beetje Moe Re-United defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edwin Helwig. The Beetje Moe Re-United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edwin Helwig should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Alfred Nagel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Beetje Moe Re-United's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Edwin Helwig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edwin Helwig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Beetje Moe Re-United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Beetje Moe Re-United's Edwin Helwig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Beetje Moe Re-United's Roger de Zaaijer got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Beetje Moe Re-United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edwin Helwig was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Zorita didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-6 via right post in the game's 59th minute. Ecuador's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! With a little luck, Beetje Moe Re-United's Edwin Helwig got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Edwin Helwig to make any attempt to save it. In the 67th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edwin Helwig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 69th minute. After 70 minutes of play, Beetje Moe Re-United's Roger de Zaaijer made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Beetje Moe Re-United's Ivo Mastebroek was substituted for Roger de Zaaijer. If Serge Schophuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barry Zandberg during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Beetje Moe Re-United getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Barry Zandberg hit a great ball. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Ivo Mastebroek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Beetje Moe Re-United.
