Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gottlieb Hammer started the match with the kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gottlieb Hammer in the 3rd minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Gottlieb Hammer sent off a good shot on target. 7 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gottlieb Hammer. Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Gottlieb Hammer came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Balus Treter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gottlieb Hammer couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Lukas Prielhofer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karsten Zielinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Karsten Zielinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Balus Treter's Elivélton Tavares got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Gottlieb Hammer scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gottlieb Hammer in the 33rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karsten Zielinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karsten Zielinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A collision led to Balus Treter getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Hannes Esch hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Gottlieb Hammer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gottlieb Hammer in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elivélton Tavares was slow to take the kick. During this time Balus Treter's players had a chance to rest. Agustín Saelicess short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Karsten Zielinski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Gottlieb Hammer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gottlieb Hammer in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Balus Treter getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Neşat Beykan hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Gottlieb Hammer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balus Treter's supporters rose to their feet, but Gottlieb Hammer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Balus Treter had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
