The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Don Cabezon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Don Cabezon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Dacian Nițescu made a huge save. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dacian Nițescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 61st minute of play. Dacian Nițescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 63rd minute of play. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Dacian Nițescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. USA were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC to leave the ground with a draw.
