Orvar Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 11th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Esquirla FC's Arlo Arruta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Esquirla FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfredo Bertran in the 17th minute. Orvar Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Colombia's Pascual Carballar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kristen Lijsens, made in the 28th minute of the game. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orvar Larsson having to make a save. Orvar Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 31st minute of play forced Esquirla FC's goalkeeper Orvar Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orvar Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. Pascual Carballar made a great header on Colombia's corner, it was just that Esquirla FC's Orvar Larsson managed to reach the ball for a save. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Santino Seco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Orvar Larsson quite easily take care of the ball. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Esquirla FC's Arlo Arruta. But to his dismay, Arlo Arruta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 64th match minute, Esquirla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yvan Maes to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Indiano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. In a very dangerous position, a player in Colombia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Pedro Manzanares had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Alfredo Bertran's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 73rd minute, Arlo Arruta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esquirla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Arlo Arruta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute of the match Joshua Garrido shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orvar Larsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Orlando Tafalla with Santino Seco as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Esquirla FC's Kristen Lijsens got a free kick in the 95th minute. Benjamin Specht hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. 98 minutes into the match, Colombia's Joshua Garrido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orvar Larsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Esquirla FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
